Is car insurance about to plummet in Ireland?
Ryanair get a lot of bad press. But personally I feel that O’Leary and his team present an honest product. You pay for what you get. Take it or leave it, it’s your choice.
Air travel is now accessable to the common man. Cheap, reliable and far reaching. Everyone is only about two hours from everywhere in Europe these days. People hop on a plane to bugger off for the weekend to Italy, Romania, Latvia - wherever.
We have this for one simple reason, Ryan and O’Leary stuck to their guns and stood up to the establishment.
Now Ryanair have launched a car insurance product underwritten by FBD (who have possibly the most reasonable rates around at the moment anyway). And it’s cheap! Sure - the begrudgers will come out in force. Everyone loves to hate O’Leary.
Screw it, the man gets my vote. When are you running for office Michael? Fianna Ryan have my # 1.
